Money between friends, finally not awkward.
Kindo exists for a moment most people know painfully well — needing money quickly, knowing someone who could help, and saying nothing. We built the rails so the ask is clear, the terms are fair, and everyone is repaid on time.
Why we exist
When you need a few hundred or a few thousand, a bank loan is expensive, a credit card is worse, and asking a friend feels heavier than either. We've all paid 22% APR while a relative had the same money sitting in a savings account earning 4%.
Kindo makes the ask clean. Fixed amount, fixed duration, fair interest if you both agree, and a paper trail that survives birthdays, weddings, and everything else life throws at relationships.
What we believe
- Friends and family should be your first option, not your last resort.
- Interest between people who love each other can still be fair — it should just be lower.
- Repayment terms written down protect the relationship, not damage it.
- Money software should be calm, not predatory.
What Kindo is — and isn't
A record-keeping platform
We help two people who already trust each other agree to fair terms and track repayments. The agreement is between them — Kindo is the ledger.
Built for the world
Any currency, any country. Terms, totals, and savings comparisons are calculated in your money — USD, EUR, GBP, INR, JPY, and more.
Privacy-first
Your circle stays your circle. We don't sell data, don't show ads, and don't share your loan history with anyone outside the loan.
Not a bank or a lender
Kindo does not lend its own money, charge interest, or guarantee repayment. We don't perform credit checks. You and the other party are the lender and borrower.
Help the people you love. Earn what you would have anyway.
Two friends. One ledger. Both win. That's the whole idea.
